Dr. Michael J. Adams is a native Philadelphian, born and raised in the Germantown section. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Howard University. Following undergrad he worked several years as an Engineer, before pursuing a career in dentistry. He received his DMD degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, where he now maintains a private practice in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, National Dental Association, and The American Dental Society of Anesthesiology. He is on the health advisory board for The North Philadelphia Headstart and was formerly a member of Enon Tabernacle Baptist Church, where he was on the Health committee for the Community Reinvestment Ministry. Currently, Dr. Adams fellowships at Bethlehem Baptist Church, in Springhouse, PA, where he is a member. Dr. Adams serves on the LaSalle College High School Alumni Board and is a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
